Teru is initially unaware that Kurosaki is also DAISY, a computer hacker who worked with her brother, Souichirou, and has been entrusted with looking after her. He is described by Teru's friends to be very attractive, though he does not generally display his emotions. Much to his chagrin, he is often jokingly described as a pervert and a lolicon by his friends, as it is established among his closer companions that he has strong romantic feelings for Teru.

Kurosaki has made it his mission to care for Teru on the request of his dying friend, Souichirou, though recently he has chosen to protect her as his true self also. Despite his strong feelings for her, Kurosaki believes that he has no right to love Teru as he is "the one that led her brother to his death. Masuda serves as Kurosaki's confidante, though like Riko, he does not hesitate to tease Kurosaki relentlessly regarding Kurosaki's feelings for Teru.

Because of how he and Teru met Kurosaki, Kiyoshi initially fears and distrusts Kurosaki. However, after the incident when Kiyoshi is tricked and manipulated into attempting to steal Teru's phone, Kurosaki's act of saving Kiyoshi's life changes Kiyoshi's perspective of Kurosaki. Expressing sincere gratitute toward Kurosaki saving his life and regretting his own actions for endangering Teru and himself, Kiyoshi comes to respect Kurosaki, particularly after learning about Kurosaki's history.

As the supposed "price" for saving Kiyoshi's life, Kurosaki forcibly recruits Kiyoshi to become his second "servant. Kiyoshi, after getting to know Kurosaki, does not hesitate to make fun of Kurosaki's feelings for Teru. Kurosaki's current employer as the director of Teru's high school, Andou was also one of Kurosaki's colleagues at Kenbashi Electronics.

He and Kurosaki appear to get along well, particularly given their shared interest and understanding in complex computer coding. Because Andou has been known to bicker with Masuda , Kurosaki used to mediate between them.

While Andou does not hesitate to approach Kurosaki to deal with various security issues at the school, he is also aware of the nature of DAISY's activities and involves Kurosaki as discreetly as possible. Though he occasionally makes rather sharp, biting observations regarding Kurosaki's relationship with Teru, Andou generally does not directly meddle with Kurosaki's love life and provides credible advice on various occasions, such as how important Kurosaki is to Teru when she is hospitalized.

Andou usually plays a key role with forming different plans to protect Kurosaki and Teru alongside Masuda and, despite his strict analytical approach to situations, he cares for the people he wishes to protect. Possessing great admiration and respect for Soichiro, Kurosaki developed a strong brotherly bond with Soichiro during their time together as members of Team Kurebayashi at Kenbashi Electronics.

Kurosaki had complete faith in Soichiro, who was one of the few people who believed that Kurosaki's father was actually innocent of the supposed charges laid against him before his death. When Soichiro was about to take a position as one of Hideo Midorikawa 's research assistants, Kurosaki applied to a university in hopes of one day joining Soichiro. When Kurosaki is arrested and wrongly charged for the death of Professor Midorikawa, Soichiro, despite suffering from stomach cancer, used the remainder of his life to decipher the data that would allow prosecutors to drop the false charges on Kurosaki instead of seeking treatment for his illness.

However, the guilt-ridden Kurosaki believed this act is what ultimately caused Soichiro's death and blamed himself. Kurosaki's guilt drives him throughout the early stages of his relationship with Teru. Though Teru and his friends, Kurosaki gradually sees that Soichiro never intended to punish or blame him for his past and finds strength instead of guilt in Soichiro's last words for him to "remember the sin of DAISY. Kurosaki finds that Teru is the only person who can make him think of the happy aspects of the past that he feels guilty of. Despite his unpleasant attitude, he cares deeply for Teru, acting toward her with genuine kindness, and is extremely protective of her. Whilst it is evident that Kurosaki returns Teru's feelings, he sometimes feels embarassed when his friends tease him by calling him a pervert or lolicon because of their age difference. Riko thinks of Teru as a little sister and cares deeply for her, especially because she and Teru's older brother, Soichiro, dated until he died.

Teru admires Riko and asks her advice and help whenever she's facing a hard time. However, due to Riko being overprotective of Teru, she tends to keep an eye on Kurosaki and will beat him up whenever something relating to him or DAISY causes Teru to cry.

Kiyoshi is Teru's best friend and a classmate, as well as scholarship student. They have been friends since primary school. For Teru's sake, he risked their friendship in hopes of finding a supposedly unreleased software that many speculated that Teru's brother had concealed in Teru's phone. The attempt nearly costs Kiyoshi his life and he believes that his friendship with Teru is permanently damaged; however, he is deeply grateful to learn that his friends still care for him as much as ever.

His relationship with Teru is very strong and they are unafraid to resort to physical violence to bring each other to their senses if necessary. Soichiro is Teru's deceased brother. However, he is regularly shown in flashbacks and is an important character in that his actions have led to many important events in the story.

When Teru was young, the siblings parents died and Soichiro took care of her. Nothing can be sweeter than the first passionate kiss you share with your one true love. Especially in Dengeki Daisy because it didn't happen in the heat of the moment and it wasn't rushed.

Finally, in Volume 14 of the manga, we finally witness an actual Dengeki Daisy kiss! It is always nice to see how the pure emotions and innocent relationship of the characters developed into something beautiful and lasting. The age difference might be a bit big, but you can't help but admire Kurosaki for his willpower and determination to wait for Teru until she's old enough. A Romance manga is never complete without a rescue mission. When Teru was taken to a mysterious island, Kurosaki did not waste his time and quickly embarked on his journey.

To make the situation more intense, Akira also went to the same island to look for the testament of his deceased grandfather.

Teru has finally recovered from the effect of the drug she was injected with. When she woke up, she was all alone in the dark prison-like room. She filled her mind with happy memories, mostly of those with Kurosaki. Although Teru was confident that he would come and rescue her, she refused to be a pampered princess just sitting and waiting.

She explored the area to find answers, and met Akira. There was a heated confrontation between the two of them when Teru tried to explain that the code within the testament would activate a certain device to kill Akira. Teru wanted to save Akira, but she was powerless to stop him and Akira simply did not care whether Teru was telling the truth or not.
